Keys locked inside
It happens to everyone: the door closes and the keys are on the seat. We open the vehicle with purpose-made lockout tools that work around the door seals and linkages, so your paint, glass and weatherstripping stay intact.
Proof of ownership
Before we open a vehicle we ask for ID and something that ties you to it: the registration, an insurance card, or the documents inside once the door is open. It protects you as much as it protects us.
Dead key fob or lost keys
A fob with a flat battery often hides a mechanical key blade, and many cars have a spot where a dead fob can be held to start the engine. If the keys are lost entirely, a new key needs a locksmith or the dealer, and we can tow the vehicle there.

Questions
Will opening the car set off the alarm?
It can. Once the door is open, the key or fob usually silences it, and we walk you through it if your car has an unusual sequence.
A child or a pet is locked in the car. What do I do?
Call 911 first. Emergency services respond to a person or an animal trapped in a vehicle; never wait on a roadside service in an emergency.
Can you make a new key?
Programming a new key needs a locksmith or a dealer with your vehicle's key equipment. If your keys are lost, we can tow your vehicle to one.
